Overview
- This technical assistance aims to develop a strategy to further engage the private sector and civil society in the implementation of the NDC, and thus contribute to the creation of enabling environment in order to meet national climate unconditional objectives.
- The project aims to achieve improved and more gender-responsive climate change governance to plan, implement, and review the Paris Agreement in selected sub-Saharan African countries.
- In the short term, the this assistance will contribute to increased capacity of the NDAs, and supporting institutions to develop and implement gender-responsive climate-related laws, regulations, policies and strategies, with a particular focus on those that increase climate ambition.
