Action Climatique en Afrique lance une initiative pour développer un cadre de gestion des risques climatiques avec l'AECF

AECF is providing support to Sunken's work on manufacturing and marketing clean cookstoves, through AECF's Kakuma Kalobeyei Challenge Fund (in support of refugees hosted by the government of Kenya). People traditionally use wood or charcoal for cooking but Sunken and AECF are building a factory in this refugee camp. The project has improvements in health through air quality, forest protection (reduction of use of wood) and generates employment.

Alors que les températures augmentent au niveau mondial, les phénomènes climatiques extrêmes tels que les sécheresses, les cyclones, les inondations et les vagues de chaleur continuent d'avoir un impact négatif sur l'ensemble de l'économie et de la société du continent africain, en particulier sur le secteur clé de l'agriculture, ce qui a un impact considérable sur les petites entreprises du continent.

Semaine africaine du climat 2023 : le projet Action Climatique en Afrique se penche sur l'action climatique innovante au carrefour de l'eau et du climat

Cette année, la Semaine Africaine du Climat qui se tiendra à Nairobi, au Kenya réunira des représentants de gouvernements, d'entreprises, d'organisations internationales et de la société civile en vue d'aborder les enjeux cruciaux et les répercussions de la crise climatique.

Le projet Action Climatique en Afrique soutient l'atelier régional de négociation sur le climat au Togo

En avril 2023, le Programme des femmes pour l'environnement (PFE) a organisé un atelier pour renforcer les capacités des négociateurs sud-sud.
