Overview
- The overall objective of this technical assistance (TA) is to assess on -and off-farm climate resilience opportunities for upgrading cassava, mango, and egg value-chains to improve the livelihoods and nutrition of rural (especially female farmers and female-headed) households in Zimbabwe, who are currently reliant on highly vulnerable, rain-fed maize production.
- The deployment seeks to map the key value chain specific climate threats, private and public actors, agro-processing potential and markets, assess the enabling environment to address climate related issues and post-harvest practices in Mashonaland East, Mashonaland West, and Midlands provinces of Zimbabwe.
