Climate Action Africa also supports capacity building and knowledge sharing activities.
Climate Action Africa does not provide financial support.

Eligibility Guidelines:
- All requests must be aligned with the country’s Nationally Determined Contribution, National Adaptation Plan, Technology Needs Assessment or other relevant climate strategies and policies.
- All requests must be gender-responsive and aligned with Canada’s Feminist International Assistance Policy.
- Learn about our gender-responsive and socially inclusive approach here.
- Government agencies and non-governmental organizations from Sub-Saharan Africa, including gender-responsive and women-led organizations, the private sector, post-secondary institutions and more, can request Technical Assistance.

PROCESS GUIDELINES
- The form should be completed by the government, non-governmental organization or private sector entity requesting Technical Assistance.
- The form can be completed in English, French or Portuguese.
- When completing the form, please pay due consideration to gender issues and the situation of vulnerable populations, including women and men. For further guidance, please refer to the Project Gender Strategy.
