Webinar Topic: Strengthening Climate Governance

Join us for the first session of the EDM-CAA webinar series, focused on Strengthening Climate Governance across Sub Saharan Africa. This event will showcase innovative approaches from three deployments supporting climate adaptation and policy development.

Key Objectives: The objective of the Featured Webinar Series is to disseminate lessons learned and results stemming from the implementation of selected Technical Assistance Initiatives in climate governance, mitigation and adaptation, women’s climate leadership and participation, gender equality and social inclusion, to raise awareness, and improve understanding of how these lessons and results can benefit other international development programs in Sub-Saharan Africa.

  1. To disseminate lessons learned and results stemming from the implementation of selected Technical Assistance Initiatives in climate governance.
  2. Increase awareness and improve understanding of how these lessons and results can benefit other climate action initiatives and international development programs in Sub-Saharan Africa.

The following lineup of presenters will spotlight how Climate Action in Africa strengthens climate governance: by increasing the capacity of NDAs, decision-makers and stakeholders responsible for coordinating and planning climate action at all levels, supporting increased ambition and application of the Paris Rulebook.
