Ecotech Quebec was founded in 2009 and is the first organization of its kind in Canada. It is the result of sustained efforts and strategic thinking by several players. Together, they foresaw the emergence of a new sector, one in which Quebec could become a center of excellence: clean technologies. Since its creation, Ecotech Quebec has helped implement numerous programs and establish organizations dedicated to the development and growth of the clean technology sector, both in Canada and internationally.
Ecotech’s expertise, recognized by provincial and international cleantech communities as well as by various government authorities, includes them as a major player in innovation for a positive transformation of the economy.
