Established in 2000, the Zimbabwe Environmental Law Association (ZELA) is a leading public-interest environmental law organisation based in Zimbabwe. ZELA’s work has developed around advocating for environmental rights within a wider natural resource governance framework that includes land, water, wildlife, gas, and mineral resources. ZELA supports communities through research, training, capacity building, and advocacy.
