Rana is an Energy Economist and a Sustainable Finance Expert at Econoler. Her professional career spans over eleven years implementing and providing technical assistance and capacity-building to initiatives and projects funded by the World Bank, German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ), KfW, Green for Growth Fund (GGF), United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), United Nations Environmental Programme (UNEP), United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS), United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), African Development Bank (AfDB), Agence Française du Development (AFD), among others. Throughout her assignments, Rana has acquired in-depth knowledge of the local and regional contexts related to climate policies and, more particularly, renewable energy development policies and frameworks in different regions.  She is the lead author of several papers, including a Guidebook: How to Develop a Sustainable Energy and Climate Action Plan (SECAP) in the MENA Region.  Rana has a post-graduate degree in Environmental and Natural Resources Economics from the Toulouse School of Economics and is fluent in English, French and Arabic. She is the Renewable Energy (RE) advisor at CAA. Rana admires tennis and is a big fan of Roger Federer. LinkedIn
