EDM-CAA Webinar to Spotlight Climate Mitigation and Adaptation in Sub-Saharan Africa

Gatineau, November 20, 2025 – The EDM-CAA initiative is pleased to announce its upcoming webinar, “Supporting Climate Mitigation and Adaptation in Sub-Saharan Africa,” scheduled for Wednesday, November 26, 2025, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. EST. This event will bring together leading experts and practitioners to share innovative approaches and practical solutions for building climate resilience across the region.

The session will open with welcoming remarks, followed by a keynote address from Gareth Phillips of the African Development Bank, who will share insights from his recent participation at COP30 in Belém, Brazil. Additional presentations will feature projects on clean technology in South Africa, geothermal prospects in Tanzania, and gender-focused adaptation strategies in Sierra Leone.
